School District Partnerships
School District Partnerships
Researchers will spend five years (2022-2027) working with school districts across South Carolina to discover effective approaches that K-12 educators studying literacy and ESOL can use to improve their teaching practices, student outcomes, and parent/caregiver involvement in student learning.
The first cohort of this project reached teachers from six school districts in South Carolina and was comprised of 25 teachers who all completed at least six hours of Early Literacy Center training and did not yet have a Master’s in literacy. The second cohort of this project reaches teachers from eight school districts in South Carolina and is comprised of 19 teachers who meet the same criteria.
