PMO, Lust & Urge Tracker: CTRL (“CTRL”, “we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a self-tracking and habit-support app designed to help users build discipline, track recovery progress, reflect on patterns, and manage urges.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and what choices you have.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use the app, CTRL may collect or process the following types of information:
Account Information
If you create an account or sign in, we may collect information such as your email address, user ID, authentication provider, and account status.
Personal Recovery Data
CTRL may store information you choose to enter into the app, such as streak data, urge logs, check-ins, reset reflections, win logs, journal entries, selected triggers, mood selections, progress notes, and related recovery patterns.
This information is used only to provide the app’s core tracking, reflection, and recovery-support features. It is not used to publicly identify you, and it is not shared with other users.
Purchase and Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription or lifetime access, payment processing is handled by Apple. We may receive purchase status, receipt, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, and subscription-related information through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Usage and Analytics Information
We may collect limited app usage information, such as onboarding progress, feature interactions, subscription screen events, and general app performance information. This helps us improve the app experience and fix issues.
Device and Diagnostic Information
We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic events to maintain app reliability and improve performance.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• provide and maintain the app
• save and display your recovery progress
• support streak tracking, urge logging, check-ins, resets, journaling, and insights
• manage accounts, subscriptions, and premium access
• improve app functionality, performance, and user experience
• respond to support requests
• maintain safety, security, and reliability
• comply with legal, platform, and App Store requirements
3. Sensitive Information
Some information you choose to enter into CTRL may be personal or sensitive in nature. This may include recovery reflections, urge-related information, journal entries, or personal notes.
You control what you choose to enter. We recommend that you do not include unnecessary personally identifying information in journal entries or notes.
CTRL does not sell your Personal Recovery Data. CTRL does not use your Personal Recovery Data for advertising. CTRL does not make your Personal Recovery Data visible to other users.
4. Third-Party Services
CTRL may use third-party services to provide authentication, app functionality, analytics, subscriptions, storage, and reliability features. These services may process data according to their own privacy practices.
These services may include:
• Firebase / Google services for authentication, app data, analytics, diagnostics, and backend functionality
• Apple Sign-In for authentication
• Google Sign-In for authentication
• RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
• Apple App Store / In-App Purchase for purchases and subscription billing
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no digital service can guarantee complete security.
Some information may be stored locally on your device. Some information may be synced or processed through cloud services when account, authentication, analytics, subscription, or backend features are used.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only when necessary to:
• provide app functionality
• process subscriptions and purchases
• operate authentication and backend services
• analyze app performance and reliability
• respond to support requests
• comply with legal obligations
• protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the app, or the developer
7. Tracking and Advertising
CTRL does not show third-party ads.
CTRL does not use Personal Recovery Data for advertising.
If analytics or attribution tools are used, they are intended to improve app performance, understand product usage, and support subscription functionality, not to publicly identify users or expose recovery data.
8. Account Deletion and Data Deletion
You can delete your account inside the app where available.
Deleting your account may delete or remove access to account-related information and associated app data, depending on your account type, sync status, and legal or technical requirements.
Deleting your account or deleting the app from your device does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. Subscription cancellation must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings.

9. Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain accounts and subscriptions, improve functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize applicable personal information, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
10. Children
CTRL is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Medical Disclaimer
CTRL is not a medical device. CTRL does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or clinical services.
The app is a self-tracking and habit-support tool. If you need medical, psychological, or mental health support, please contact a qualified professional.
12. International Users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect information according to applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
13. Your Rights
