CT PIE is a Connecticut initiative that helps eligible youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities secure competitive, inclusive employment. It provides individualized services based on each person’s strengths, interests, and needs, ensuring that anyone who wants to work has the opportunity to do so. Students with I/DD who are eligible for the Department of Developmental Services and interested in competitive employment after high school may enroll.
Bridge CT strengthens partnerships with key stakeholders to maximize support, resources, and access to career pathways for children ages 10–14 and youth ages 16–22 with disabilities, including those from underserved populations. It promotes professional development, collaboration, and early access to transition resources to improve student outcomes and increase visibility. Services are provided in the classroom during the school day, with additional resources available for families as needed, and may include collaborations with Centers for Independent Living, CPAC, Workforce Development Boards, and other community organizations.
