How do we maintain Our mental health during stressful times?
Life is full of challenges. Usually, we can go through our normal routine while dealing with the challenges life presents to us. But sometimes, when things become overwhelmingly difficult to manage, we start to feel depleted, anxious, depressed, and stressed. This can take a serious toll on our mental health; so what do we do when things become too much for us to handle?
We are currently living through a world pandemic that has each effected us in our own personal way. The last few months have been difficult for many of us for various reasons and the world is trying to adjust to its new reality. As educators, it is important to make sure our students (and ourselves) are maintaining our mental health during these stressful times.
So how do we do this?
This website will outline some of the holistic approaches educators can implement into their curricula which are beneficial towards maintaining positive mental health. Based on our findings, these holistic approaches and concepts may help reduce the everyday stresses and anxieties presented in our daily lives, allowing us to develop physically and mentally along the way.
