About Us
The Chinese Testing International - Miami Test Center is a registered organization approved and authorized by the Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. to administer the Chinese Proficiency Tests (HSK, HSKK, YCT, BCT) and provide testing services to better support Chinese language education and Chinese proficiency development across the United States of America.

Notes:
Starting 1/1/2022, the Home Edition Online Test HSK 3-6 test takers are required to register for and take the HSKK Tests at the same time. The corresponding required HSKK levels are listed below:
HSK level 3 + HSKK primary level oral test
HSK level 4 + HSKK intermediate level oral test
HSK level 5 + HSKK advanced level oral test
HSK level 6 + HSKK advanced level oral test
The test takers are required to enter the designated virtual meeting room one hour before the test starts.
The timeline allows multiple registrations for different test levels on the same test date as long as the test start time is different.
In-person Paper-based Tests
The Paper-based will be considered to be administered ONLY at schools that have more than 15 students sign up for the tests on the same testing date and require on-your-campus in-person testing services. Please check out the available CTI test dates for 2024 and contact our test center at least 20 days before the test registration due dates which will allow us enough time to request approval.

You are eligible to register to take the test at our center if you meet the following criteria:
1. Located in the U.S.; OR
2. Located in any South American country without a local Chinese test center; OR
3. Able to physically take the test in the U.S. on your test date.
Please do NOT register if you do not fit the listed geographic requirements.
Nationality is not considered as an eligibility requirement.

What is the HSK test?
The HSK is an international standardized test that assesses students’ proficiency in the Chinese language. The test challenges students enrolled in a Chinese language course by evaluating their understanding of different real-life scenarios along with historical and literary examples. More than 30 million Chinese language learners worldwide have been actively participating in HSK testing and have found it helpful to compare and contrast their own learning progress over time with the average global standard.
What tests are administered at the Miami Test Center?
Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)
Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities to use the Chinese language in their daily, academic, and professional lives.
HSK consists of six levels: HSK (level I), HSK (level II), HSK (level III), HSK (level IV), HSK (level V), and HSK (level VI).HSK Speaking Test (HSKK)
HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) assesses the test takers’ oral Chinese abilities.
HSKK consists of three levels, HSKK (Primary level), HSKK (Intermediate level), and HSKK (Advanced level).
HSKK is conducted in the form of audio recording.Youth Chinese Test (YCT)
Youth Chinese Test (YCT), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses primary and middle school students’ abilities to use Chinese as a second language in their daily and academic lives. YCT is divided into writing and speaking tests, which are independent of each other.
The writing test consists of four levels: YCT (level I), YCT (level II), YCT (level III), and YCT (level IV).
The speaking test consists of two levels: YCT Speaking (Primary Level) and YCT Speaking (Intermediate Level).Business Chinese Test
Business Chinese Test (BCT), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities to use the Chinese language in real business or common working environments.
BCT is divided into writing and oral tests, which are independent of each other. The writing test consists of two levels: BCT (A) and BCT (B). BCT (Oral iBT) is Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) and is conducted online.
