Lasha works on the position of senior teacher of Physics and Computer technologies at LEPL Zhiuli Shartava Rustavi Public school #4. He is also ICT manager of the same school. Within the frames of the reform of general education, Lasha is the coach of technologies in the Kvemo Kartli Region (Rustavi, Gardabani). He supports teachers of computer technologies in the region to develop II-VI grades new standards of computer technology. Within the same of the project, he is the member of the group who works on the standards of computer technology for seventh and eighth grades that is planned to be developed for 2022-2023 academic year.
Based on his initiative and supporting of School board during 2019 Spring term there was held electronic test exams in fourth and fifth grades. He participated in the final conference of project “New school model” in December, 2019, where he was a speaker with the topic “Electronic educational resources in primary classes”. He was the volunteer member of the Ministry of Education of Georgia during pandemic in 2020 Spring and he was supporting to develop distance learning processes in Rustavi.
He participated in (CTEL) CIVIC AND TECH THROUGH ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM in 2019-2020 and became the winner of CTEL exchange program.
Ana was born in Ozurgeti, Georgia on 26 September in 1984.
In 2003 – 2004 she worked as news announcer and wrote news reports in a local TV company "MADI".
Since September 2008, she has been teaching English at Ozurgeti Municipality Village GOMI Public School. She holds the status of a senior teacher. Since September 2014, she has been working as an ESL teacher at English Access Micro Scholarship Program.
She attended training "Practical and Entertaining Adventure for Conflict-resolution and English-teaching”, organized by American Councils Moldovan Environmental Governance Academy (MEGA) and Academia Nicolae Dumitriscu.
Also, she works in English Academy as an English teacher. She regularly attends professional development workshops and conferences. She has an experience of co-working with Peace Corps volunteers.
Nadia Kardava
Nadia was born in Sukhumi, Abkhazia on 31 July in 1992.
In 2014, Nadia graduated from Georgian National University "SEU" with the degree of Bachelors of Humanitarian Sciences in English philology. In 2014, she continued her studies at Ilia State University and got her Master’s degree of philology in English. From 2015 to 2017 She worked as an executive administrative assistant of projects funded by European Union at Institute of Innovations and Changes.
Since September 2015, she has been teaching English at Ozurgeti Municipality Village Likhauri Public School. She holds the status of a senior teacher. Since January 2016, she has been working as an ESL teacher at English Access Micro Scholarship Program.
Also, she sometimes works as a translator. Her work and her studies brought her into contact with a wide range of people, situations and varieties of English. This included British and American native speakers and many non-native speakers working in English. She regularly attends professional development workshops and conferences. She has a great experience of teaching Georgian to Peace Corps volunteers. In 2017, she had an opportunity to receive a cross-cultural experience in Catania, Italy and she volunteered as an English teacher for 6 weeks.
Ioseb Lazarashvili
Ioseb Lazarashvili is 33 years old. He graduated from Tbilisi State University in 2011, Master’s degree in Geography and now he is a candidate of Ph.D. degree in Geography. Ioseb has 7 years’ experience being as a teacher and as a principal of the Tbilisi public school N58. At this moment he teaches Civic Education, also Entrepreneurship - “Company program” by “Junior Achievement”. As an active teacher in Entrepreneurship, he was invited in Estonia by “JA Estonia” to attend international “Student’s Mini Company” competition in 2019. Ioseb is a leader of “European club” of Tbilisi public school N58. He as a leader of “European club” was invited in Poland (2019), in Robert Schuman Foundation and in public schools of Poland to get experience from their “European clubs”.

Rita is a Lead English teacher with 7 years of experience working at a Public school. She is a form teacher and she is responsible for educating her students, giving them the skills they need to succeed in this new world, and helping them grow the confidence to practice those skills.

Anaid Nakhatakyan
After graduating from Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute and receiving a diploma with honor Anaid worked as an EFL teacher in Public School # 15 Akhalkalaki, in University of Economy and Law in Akhalkalaki and in Public School # 2, Akhalkalaki. She also worked as a translator, a teacher trainer for Millenium Challenge Corporation – Georgia, and a TAG and VTAG facilitator for the British Council. Anaid has been teaching English as a foreign language for 21 years. She also works as an information manager at Akhalkalaki public school # 2.
In 2016 Anaid participated in English Language Through Civic Education Program - an intensive 60 – hour teacher training course and from that on she has actively been participating in a lot of trainings, professional development courses and conferences both as a listener and as a presenter. She took part in ELCE 2 competition for teacher generated materials and became a second prize winner. She is proud to be working as an Akhalkalaki English Access Microscholarship program teacher. After participating in Civic and Tech Through English Language Program (CTEL) Integrated Teaching Course she was admitted to the Summer Institute for Distinguished Teachers. She has recently taken 3 modules of TKT and received bands 3 and 4.

Giorgi graduated from Kutaisi State University, the Faculty of Information Technologies. He has been teaching ICT at Kutaisi Public School N17 since 2011. At the same time, he is a school IT manager and simultaneously works as a Head IT manager at the National Assessment and Examinations Center (NAEC-Ministry on Education and Science of Georgia.)
Giorgi is a trainer at Kutaisi American Corner. He has graduated from CISCO networking Academy and became a certified IT specialist. He participated in CTEL (Civic and Tech Through the English Language) in 2020/21 and is the winner of the CTEL Exchange Program 2022. He regularly attends training courses, webinars, and conferences in his working field. He is one of the organizers of educational competitions such as “The Best Linguist” and “Hackathon”. Giorgi is co-founder of Teachers’ international association “Georgia”.
Giorgi thinks that technology will never replace great teachers, but technology in great teachers’ hands is a very powerful tool.
Tinatin is a certified EFL teacher with the best results. She is presently working as a leading teacher of English in Batumi Public School No.8. She is a teacher trainer too and has been doing different activities in these functions. Besides teaching and training, her responsibilities also include setting up curriculum and design tests in accordance to every level of education within the school.
As a teacher trainer she provides trainings as well as workshops for teachers of English. This, of course, involves presentation and sharing of all the modern methodology and teaching trends.
One of the current interests she has is how the content of the course can influence not only learners’ level of motivation but their values and beliefs. After having finished various training courses she has implemented various activities and teaching methods in her classes. The great impact on her experience had the training courses ELCE and CTEL. She has been using civic education concepts in her classroom and has had positive outcomes.
One ot the main aspects, that makes her a good teacher, is her personality. She is highly responsible, honest, patient and fair. Of course, all abovementioned traits are not perfect and need to be improved. Thus, as a lifelong learner, Tinatin strives for professional development. She regularly tries to improve her teaching skills, integrate new knowledge in her teaching and have a better expertise in her job.
Zurab Dumbadze was born in Keda on 25 June 1988. In 2010, Zura graduated from Shota Rustaveli State University with the degree of bachelors Mathematics and Computer Science in Compute technology. In 2015, he continued his studies at Shota Rustaveli state university and got his Master’s degree in Business informatics. Since 2010 he has been working as an information manager and ICT teacher at Lepl Batumi N6 Physics-Mathematics Public School. He is a senior teacher. From 2019 to 2020, he worked at the Teacher's House as an Information Technology Expert. He has created a web application "Teacher Portal". In his spare time, he devotes himself to learning different languages of web development and programming.
Marine has been teaching as an ICT teacher for 15 years. She is a lead teacher and teaches at LEPL Gori N8 Public School and Kareli Municipality Village Urbnisi Public School, in Georgia.
Marine has 10 years of experience as a teacher trainer. She is a trainer and eTwinning Ambassador at Teacher Professional Development Center. Her two eTwinning projects were awarded by the center of eTwinning European awards. And her school (Gori N8 Public School) is named as an eTwinning School.
Since 2019, Marine has actively involved as an ICT expert in “General Development Reform”. She assists teachers to use new methods and national curriculum in their classes. She conducts trainings, webinars, workshops in methodology for school teachers to empower their career. Marine is invited expert at Gori State University. She shares her experience to the future teachers at University. Marine participated in the CTEL program. She attended training sessions, planned and conducted integrated lessons with the co-teachers and presented at CTEL conference in 2018-2019.
Marine is actively involved in school life, she and her students participate in the international projects, conferences. She has several years of experience as a school club teacher. Marine always tries to develop creative and critical thinking in her students.
Nodar Tsagareishvili was born on February 4, 1981 in Sukhumi, Abkhazia. He teaches computer technologies in public school №5 of Abkhazia. He has 15 years of experience of teaching technologies. Since 2011 he has been working at the National Center of Teacher Professional Development as a trainer/ consultant and an expert in information-communication technologies. He is regularly conducting various trainings for teachers in digital technologies. Since 2013 he has been working as a lecturer of information literacy at Akaki Tsereteli State University. On the bachelor's and master's programme he teaches digital and media literacy. He is the e-learning coordinator at the Akaki Tsereteli State University. He, also, attends professional development seminars and international conferences, publishes articles in peer-reviewed publications, participates in various projects organized by Erasmus + program of the European Union, UNICEF Georgia, IREX in Georgia, USAID / RTI Basic Education Program.
Mariam Iakobishvili graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with the degree of Bachelors of Social and Political Sciences in Sociology. Later she completed „Teacher Training 60 ECT Educational Program” and was qualified as a senior civic education teacher. Since 2019 she has been teaching civics at LEPL Rustavi N4 and N24 public schools. Also, she is currently doing her MA in philosophy at Ilia State University.
To improve her personal and professional skills, Mariam always actively participates in various Projects, Training Courses, Workshops, and Seminars. In 2019-2020 she participated in CTEL (CIVIC AND TECH THROUGH ENGLISH LANGUAGE), which was a great experience for her as a beginner teacher. During the same year, she took part in the project "1+1 Synergy for Democratic Culture", Which aimed to strengthen the democratic culture at schools.
Besides teaching Mariam is actively involved in creating teaching materials for students and teachers. She is a co-author of the “Legal Culture Manual” for SCOPE (school, Community and Police Engagement program). Mariam is also a member of the Civic Education Teachers Forum.
For her, as a teacher, the main goal is to increase and develop critical thinking skills in students and help them to be more independent and self-confident.
Bakur graduated from Ivane Javakjishvili Tbilisi State University with Bachelors's degree in law and received a Master’s degree in public law from the same university. He is a former member of the Georgian Bar Association. After 2 years of working as a lawyer, he decided to try teachers profession and completed the „Teacher Training 60 ECT Educational Program” at Ilia State University. Since 2019 Bakur is a senior civic education teacher and has been working at LEPL Rustavi N18 and N11 public schools.
After becoming a teacher to develop his teaching skills, he took part in various training, workshops, and projects, from which one of the most memorable ones is CTEL (Civic and Tech Through English Language) in 2019/20. This Project gave him enough experience and knowledge to regularly do civic education lessons in English for various classes.
Apart from teaching in the school, he is actively involved in creating teaching materials. He took part in creating scenarios for TV lessons for TV School on First Channel, is a co-author of ,,Legal Culture Manual’’ for School, Community and Police Engagement program (SCOPE).

Nino Maisuradze, born on 27 November 1986, holds a bachelor’s degree in Oriental Studies (Tbilisi State University), master’s degree in English Language and Literature (Ilia State University) and a master’s Degree in Social Sciences with a major in Regional Studies/ Eurasian and Caucasus Studies (Tbilisi State University). As part of her latest master’s studies in 2016, she completed one semester as an exchange student at the University of Warsaw at the faculty of Social and Political Sciences. In 2008-2013, she worked as a senior specialist for the National Agency of Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia. In 2018, she participated as a consultant in USAID-led project “Georgia Violent Extremism Risk Analysis and Training Personnel”.
Since 2020 January, Nino Maisuradze has been working as a civic education teacher at Public School No. 151, Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2020-2021, she took part in the following projects: “Civic and Tech Through English Language “, “1+1 Synergy for Democratic Culture”, “Equal Opportunities for Boys and Girls”, “ Civic Education Against Disinformation about EU-Integration” „Joint Initiative against Radicalization and Violent Extremism”. In 2020, she was named as asuccessful teacher of the year by Civic Education Teachers Forum in the framework of the project “Future Generation” carried out with the support of PH International and USAID.
Natalia Ghonghadze graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty ofJournalism in 1998. She worked as a freelance correspondent in a regional journal “Algeti” in 2002.
In 2003, she started working as a teacher of Georgian Language and Literature in „Art school-kindergarten“ of Rustavi.Also, she has been working as a deputy director in the same school for 2 years.
In 2007,she has been teaching tolerance in the primary classes of Rustavi’s Public School N28.
She has been teaching Georgian Languageto an American volunteer teacher in Peace Corps’s Program.
Since 2011, she has been working as an Informational Manager and ICT teacher in Public School N10 of Rustavi. She holds the status of a senior teacher.
She participated in the 49 hours of training in CTEL Program and presented at Final Conference in 2021.

Rusudan graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of English philology. Later on attended an Intensive training In modern methodology, 48-hour course organized by Macmillan education. Seeing the teacher's profession from a different angle became motivation for her to become Teacher. In addition to that, she participated in the 32-hour in-service training course Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).
Despite the fact that she has only one-year experience of teaching, she managed to attend a number of trainings and webinars about different aspects of teaching. She participated in the CTEL program and presented at CTEL online conference.
Lali Gigauri graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics, and then from the Iakob Gogebashvili National Institute of Pedagogical Sciences.
Lali has many years of experience working as a computer technology teacher at the school. Has the status of a leading teacher of information and communication technologies. Was an active member of the project to introduce computerization in Georgian public schools. She has also worked as a trainer-consultant for Information and Communication Technologies at the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.
In 2017-2018 he was involved in the English Language (CTEL) program through Civic and Tech. And participated in the final conference of the CTEL program.
Due to his professional interests, he participated in scientific, pedagogical and technological conferences for many years, as well as led students to participate in seminars or conferences for various student-youth. In 2019, he passed the cycle of trainings in media literacy "Media Economy", "Hello Ruby", organized by the Georgian National Communications Commission and Centro Zaffiria.
Lali Gigauri participated in the teacher exchange program in Graz, Austria in 2018, as part of the program she got acquainted with the methodology of teaching computer science in public and private schools, the adapted version of which she still successfully uses with her students.
Eliza Kukava graduated from Tbilisi State University named after Ivane Javakhishvili, faculty of Physics and Mathematics, specializing in Informatics, with a master's degree. From 1998 to 2005 she worked as an engineer_ programmer in Zugdidi Regional- Methodical Centre. Since 2005 she has been working in Public School 2 named after Merab Kostava. Eliza has got Senior Teacher status. She teaches Computer Technology and she is also School Information Manager.
Eliza is actively involved in different educational projects, regularly attends seminars, trainings and conferences of professional development. She actively collaborates with students in different educational projects and in competitions in the field of technology. Her students have been winners many times (video clips, digital storytelling, comics…).
Eliza took part in a 48_hour intensive innovative course ,,Learning - Teaching with Minecraft’’ . She was involved in project ,,Digital School- Georgia’’, which was intended to use modern technologies in the learning process, she participated as a speaker in the final conference in Batumi.

Tamar Zedginidze is a Master of Technical Sciences, qualified teacher in Physics and Informatics. Since 2019 she has been teaching Computer Technologies at Public School # 74, Tbilisi, as a Senior Teacher. Currently she has been a student of the Scientific Cyber Security Courses, studying Python and implementing AI in Cyber Security . Before teaching at Public School she worked in several IT companies as a tutor, computer specialist, technical manager in a miner farm, purchasing and corporative sales manager of computer equipments. She cooperated with the leading technology companies and manufacturing factories. During the whole working period she has taken part in various trainings and conferences of hardware and software. In 2020 she attended the 2nd International Conference of Blockchain and Bitcoin in Georgia. Beloved profession, working experience, love of kids and gratitude inspired and motivated her to become a teacher. Nino Tavadze
Nino Tavadze graduated from Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University faculty of Informational Tecnology and English language. She has thirteen years of working experience as an IT teacher at Kutaisi public school # 10. Working as a teacher is interesting and exciting for her . Sopio Todua was born in Zugdidi, Georgia on 26 June in 1986. She graduated from Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli stsate University in 2011 and was awarded the Degree of Master of Arts in German Language and Literature.
Since 2011 she has been teaching German of Zugdidi , Public School N1 as a leading German Teacher. She held the status of a senior teacher. In 2019 she passed the Teacher Certification Exam in Civic Education and became a Senior status Civic Education Teacher. Since 2019 she has been teaching also Civic Education.
She regularly attended professional development workshops and conferences. In 2019, she received a scholarship from the Goethe Institute and attended teacher training courses in Germany.
Lili Shubladze was born in 1985. she graduated from public school in 2003. Lili shubladze graduated from Tbilisi Ilia chavchavadze state University faculty of Culture and Humanities. In 2007 she was awarded the qualification teacher of history and civil education. She has been working since 2007 and has been teaching civil education and history in different schools. She is currently working as a civil education teacher in the second public school of Qutaisi.
Zaira Tkabladze graduated from Kutaisi State Pedagogical Institute. She has been working at Kutaisi Public School #7 since 1999. She holds the position of a senior teacher. She is also a leader of the Civic Club “The Fair World and Me”.
Her activities are related to the Civic Teachers’ Program, which was implemented by PH International in partnership with The Civic Education Forum and with USAID financial support. She also collaborates with Kutaisi Education and Employment Center.
The first successful participation in a small grant competition encouraged her to be actively involved in her professional activities. The first success was followed by an active membership of the Civic Education Teachers’ Forum.

Marina Graduated From Moscow State University Faculty of history in 1984. She has been working in public school N4 since 1986 as a history teacher and since 1993 as civic teacher.
She also teaches integrated course civics and history at College “Horizonti”.
Marina is a member of the Civic teachers Forum, as a civic teacher. She was rewarded for making the contribution in teaching civics.
She was gifted with technical supplies from projects for civic teachers organised and financed by PH international and USAID.
In the year of 2015-2020 she was certified for teaching judicial culture in school.
Marina attended training in civics, which was organised by Ph international. And is the winner of the project CTEL. She also participated in CTEL online conference.
Irma Gordeladze
Irma Gordeladze was born in Ozurgeti Municipality Village Likhauri, Gruia, Georgia. She has already been teaching History for 27 years and since 2013 She’s been a civics teacher at two different public schools in village Likhauri and village Baileti. Also, she is a leading teacher of the civics club. She has been engaged in implementing a lot of projects.
In Guria, Irma is an environmental activist and founder of the environmental community organization "Eco". Together with her fellow companions, she is trying to protect the nature and sustainable development of the Guria region.
She is 51 years old. She has a daughter who is a student and a future ecologist. She likes an active life, challenges, news, learning new things and she has a good sense of humor.
She was born and raised in a small town of Georgia, Kutaisi. She graduated from Akaki Tsereteli State University and got her Degree of Master of Education, major in the English Language Teaching Methodology. She has twenty-three years of work experience in the field of teaching English. Currently, she works at Kutaisi Public School #7. She holds the Leader Teacher qualification, accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. In 2012 she received the status of Certified Teacher with the best results by the
Center for Teacher Professional Development. She is also a teacher-facilitator and helps future teachers to enter the profession through a practical course at school. She has an experience of co-working with Peace Corps volunteers. She has participated in different projects and trainings. This project has been her third cooperation with Project Harmony International. ( ELCE Teacher Training Course in 2012, CTEL – in 2020 -2021).

Mariam Chavchavadze graduated from Tbilisi Ilia Chavchavadze State University of Language and Culture majoring in the English and German languages in 2000 and was qualified as a teacher of English and German. Since 2010 she has been teaching English at Tbilisi, Public School # 31 as a Leading English Teacher. Before teaching at Public School, she worked at the Ministry of International Affairs as a leading specialist.
Mariam participated in CTEL (Civic and Tech Through English Language) in 2020/21 and is the winner of CTEL Exchange Programme 2022. She also successfully completed ELCE (English Language Through Civic Education ) Teacher Training Course in 2016 and was the Second Prize Winner of ELCE competition for Teacher Generated Materials in 2016. Marina Gvetadze
Marita Gvetadze was born in Kutaisi, on 16th of October, 1986.
She graduated from Kutaisi St. Nino public school #3 in 2004 and entered AKaki Tsereteli State University. She got her BA in 2008 and enrolled in the same university for her MA degree in English language and literature.
Along with her studies, Marita started her first job in 2008 as an interpreter/Project director assistant at an international company “Euro-Asian Steels”. She enjoys working and interacting with international people, which gives her opportunity to get to know more about different people and their culture.
Later, in 2010 she started to work as a business development manager at Georgian-American school Progress, where she also was the head of English language courses. This was the place, where she started teaching for the first time.
Marita passed her teacher competence exam in 2013. After receiving the status of senior teacher, she started working at Kutaisi public school #21, where she is still occupied as ESL teacher.
During her 7 years career as a teacher, she took part in number of training courses, but she would like to point out the program of CTEL (2019-20). She found the program the most unique and challenging. She thinks that the knowledge and experience she received from CTEL , changed her and her students to better.
Teona Sumbadze
Teona Sumbadze is a senior teacher at Telavi Public School N9. She has been teaching civics and history for 19 years. She graduated from Iacob Gogebashvili Telavi State University and got a master’s degree in Georgian Language , Literature and History. In 2010 a civic club- “Tanadgoma” was founded on her own initiative. The club was actively involved in the school life. It got two grants in the PH -International contests and under the frame of those projects the school received some technology. Teona is a motivated teacher, seeking for novelties and trying to use them in the teaching process. Her students take part in various Olympiads and get non-formal education. In 2011 she received the best teacher of the year honor in Kakheti region. Teona actively participated in other projects done by PH-International including- Implementation of Legal Culture at school and CTEL. In 2018 she presented at theCTEL conference with her triad and they also attended the Summer Institute in Kobuleti. She tries to enhance the knowledge and share her experience with others. In 2019-2020 she was chosen by the Ministry of Education as the expert of new curriculum implementation at elementary school. Teona has a husband and three children. In her free time she spends with her family. She loves fiction and watch movies.
Teona Tchabukiani is 37 years old. She has fifteen years of working experience as an English teacher in her native town, Kutaisi. Working as a teacher is a great pleasure for her and she thinks, that this is definitely what she wants to do. She is communicative, responsible, hard-working, creative and helpful teacher for her students and colleagues. She is always ready for the new challenges and experiences in her career.-
During the period of teaching, she has participated in several webinars, training, and conferences that help her to become more confident and more experienced step by step.
In 2013 I was nominated as the “Best Teacher of the Year” from her school and was awarded a special certificate from Kutaisi town hall and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
In 2016 she was chosen as a teacher facilitator in her school, which means that she helped her colleagues to raise their qualifications. Later she had participated in “Leadership Academy” training sessions as a STEM facilitator with school principals and arranged several workshops for English teachers in Kutaisi, which was a great responsibility and valuable experience for her.
Since 2016 she had conducted lessons with the Peace Corp American volunteer for three years. During this period besides lessons, they arranged summer camps, Students’ Conferences, and founded Movie Club for their students and the children in their community
Now she holds the Leader Teacher qualification accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, which is one of the highest degree of teacher’s qualification in Georgia.
