150 hours total

The CTE Industry Scholars Program supports Career and Technical Education (CTE) high school students in advancing their education and career aspirations through valuable work-based learning activities. The program consists of exciting industry-specific internships and a variety of career exploration activities.

CTEISP brings together four program components.

1. Work readiness training and support: students participate in 16 hours of training to prepare for their summer internship and will receive social emotional support.

2. Full-time Internships: Students are placed in internships at a variety of companies, remotely, that are aligned with their CTE field of study.

3. Credentialing opportunities: Upon completion of the program, students may be eligible for school credit, a CTE endorsed diploma, and a training certification.

4. Future employment opportunities: students graduating with internship experiences, are more likely, than students without those experiences, to find employment upon graduation.

CTEISP helps students become stronger college and job candidates.

  • Work in a paid internship opportunity at a company in the students’ CTE field of study for a salary of $15/hr maximum of 150 hours for the internship period

  • Gain exposure to careers and strengthen your professional network in these fields

  • Develop technical and employability skills for career success

CTEISP has high expectations for our students.
