Coach, Limo, Trailer... They have complex electrical systems on board. Each system can take up to 100+ fuses and relays factory equipped with multiple systems such as a Lighting system, Entertainment system, Sound system, Dash and Cluster systems, Monitoring system, Engine system, HVAC system & much more with each having there own harness and location. These systems run off of a 12V / 24V DC power supply ran in series. The alternator plays the most important role, Its important to insure your alternators voltage regulator isn't overpowering your coach which can cause permanent damage to these systems. These vehicles see a lot of miles and feel a lot of vibration which causes wear and tear on wires, switches, fuses, bulbs and most electrical components on board. Depending on your vehicles set up you will find a 12V or 24V battery system. In the battery box is also regulators and monitors to maintain the proper voltage. You should also find a main shutoff disconnect switch
