CSU Certificate Program in Student Success Analytics and the CSU Student Success Dashboard! Registration Deadline for Spring 2025 is Friday, December 13, 2025.
New Course Equity Portal Faculty Track
We have created a special team space within the larger Analytics Certificate Program cohort with the strategic goal of familiarizing tenured/tenure-track and lecturer faculty with our new Course Equity Portal (CEP) and advancing equity-minded and data-inspired action at the classroom level. This track will only be open to tenured/tenure-track and lecturer faculty, and faculty alumni of our program are welcome to lead a team of faculty colleagues they have recruited or join a multi-campus faculty team.
Student Testimonials Now Featured in our CSU Student Success Dashboard
We believe in the power of data, whether quantitative or qualitative, to inform us and guide us on critical decision-making that can improve the educational experience for our historically marginalized student populations. We are excited to share that we have added the CSU Student Success Dashboard - Students' Stories feature as a way to honor our students’ experiences and inform our actions. As we say, every number is a person, and every person has a story.
As you peruse the Dashboard, you may notice other new features, such as added data pages across all four areas of the dashboard, and pop-up windows providing helpful filtering and navigational tips. We encourage you to take a few minutes to check out all the new improvements.
We encourage you to share this news with your colleagues! If you have further questions, we invite you to join us at our last Info Session of the year on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. We hope to see you return to the Analytics Certificate Program as a team lead, as this could be a great opportunity for your work to continue flourishing, whether through a cross-divisional and/or faculty-only team.
Serve as a Faculty Mentor for the University Honors Program
Faculty mentors play a vital role in the development and completion of the Senior Honors project. The Senior Honors project represents the culminating experience of the University Honors program and allows students to work one-on-one throughout the academic year with a faculty member on a topic that they are passionate about. Senior Honors projects can be interdisciplinary research experiences, applied portfolios, or creative projects. Information about serving as a faculty mentor can be found here and examples of prior Senior Honors projects can be found here. Faculty mentors must be tenure-line faculty (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors). Interested faculty should fill out this mentor form to be added to our Senior Honors Project mentor database.
Faculty Student Success Dashboard
Faculty Student Success Dashboard (FSSD) empowers faculty to proactively engage with their students in ways that promote student success across a variety of indicators. This Dashboard is the first tool in its kind in the CSU system. With this Dashboard, faculty at Cal State Fullerton will be able to easily access individual academic performance, progress, and success data (e.g., retention, graduation) of students who enroll in their courses and observe how their work is reflected in overall, as well as individual, student success indicators. This Dashboard aims to increase awareness of the role faculty play in student success. The Dashboard also provides resources to faculty when examining their self-awareness on socio-cultural identities and biases. Faculty SOQ and Graded Class Lists can also be accessed from the Dashboard. Please visit FSSD webpage to learn more about this Dashboard, watch the informational video and the video guides and find answers to your questions via FAQ.
The Inclusive Champion Certificate Program (ICCP) provides engagement and educational opportunities for all members of the CSUF community through courses that help participants understand their intersecting identities, foster self-reflection, increase cultural competency and awareness, and offer tangible skills to impact positive change through racial equity and justice in campus roles. ICCP core and elective courses are offered weekly. Please visit the ICCP webpage to view the monthly course schedule and engagement opportunities: Inclusion Champion Certificate Program - Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion | CSUF (fullerton.edu)
With the launch of TitanInsights, we are also introducing enhancements to the Faculty Student Success Dashboard (FSSD). You can look forward to faster, more efficient reporting and analysis capabilities and continued access to individual academic performance, progress, and success data (e.g., retention, graduation) of students enrolled in your courses. Faculty SOQ and Graded Class Lists will continue to be accessed from the new FSSD.
