The lab attended the OSCAR Student Showcase at California State University, East Bay. All current lab members at this time presented a poster: Daniel Carr, Gabrielle Gorostiza, Siena Gunari, Madison Mercado, Lu Pavana, Adim Rai, and Jo Vistosa. Congratulations to everyone!

April 3 - 6, 2025

The lab attended the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) 2025 Annual Meeting at Portland, OR. Gabrielle and Madison each presented a poster. It was a great opportunity to meet with our collaborators, the Pecic Lab!

April 6, 2025

Madison Mercado won first place for her poster presentation at the ASPET 2025 Annual Meeting. She competed in the undergraduate Drug Discovery and Development (DDD) division. Her poster presentation focused on the discovery and evaluation of novel enzyme inhibitors for the treatment of inflammatory pain and migraines using animal models. Congratulations!

January 9 - 11, 2025

The lab attended the 37th Annual CSUBIOTECH Symposium. It was a great opportunity to connect with all the other California State Universities and network with other faculty and students. The lab was also able to meet with our collaborators, the Pecic Lab, who attended from Cal State Fullerton and were also presenting. Four of our lab members presented a poster: Daniel Carr, Gabrielle Gorostiza, Siena Gunari, and Madison Mercado. Congratulations to them!

The lab attended the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) 2024 Annual Meeting. Daniel, Gabrielle, and Madison presented their poster titled: Antinociceptive effects of dual fatty acid amide hydrolase and soluble epoxide hydrolase inhibitors in rat models of inflammatory pain. Congratulations!

July 23 - 24, 2024

The lab attended the SuRE Biennial '24 Conference on the NIH Campus in Bethesda, MD. Madison presented her poster and the conference was a wonderful opportunity to connect with faculty, students, and research administrative staff at the NIH. Congratulations!
