Nursing Program Ceremonial Objects & Artifacts

The Nursing Program has a long tradition of honoring students as they enter the program and as they embark upon the official start of their career in healthcare. The Nurse's Cap Ceremony was introduced in the early days of the program to present students with their caps when they begin their clinical hospital training. The Pinning Ceremony is part of the University's commencement activities and honors nursing students upon the completion of their educational program.
