They will also learn to identify other's emotions and perspectives. Research shows that social emotional learning makes a difference in student's lives. The Zones of Regulation is a cognitive behavior approach for helping students self-regulate their behaviors, emotions, and sensory needs. By using concepts and visuals to help students learn to recognize their feelings it allows them to employ strategies for optimal learning.
