Meet the Team
Mrs. Stevens
Mrs. Stevens sponsors the MS Environmental Club, Scuba Gang, and Everglades Champions in Action. She volunteers with Audubon Western Everglades, Coral Restoration Foundation, Project Aware, and Reef Environmenal Education Foundation and spends much of her free time working in her butterfly garden.
Mrs.Potocki
Mrs. Potocki is the Head of Middle School at CSN. She has a butterfly garden, compost bin, and many fruit trees in her backyard. Her favorite backyard fruit is the Meyer lemon. She loves traveling on CSN Scuba Gang trips—although she does not dive.
Harold Hoffmann
Harold is in eighth grade and has been involved in Environmental Clubs and committees for three years. He created the website and provided insight on the project. He enjoys cooking, sports, and long nature hikes.
Charlotte Sierpierski
Charlotte Siepierski is in eighth grade and has been involved in environmental clubs and committees for three years. She created the commercial for Everglades champions and provided my ideas and time. Also, She helped plan Earth Day and goes on scuba trips regularly. She enjoys crocheting, environmental work and spending time with friends.
Bahiyyih Ostrom
Bahiyyih Ostrom is an eighth grader who has been in environmental club for three years and is involved in Earth day planning, everglades champions, and trash clean-ups. She enjoys making art and spending time outdoors.
Leela Pandit
Leela is in seventh grade and is thrilled to help the environment this year. She has joined the MS environmental club and the Everglades Champions in Action Club for her environmental journey. She has an interest in painting, music, and fencing.
Riley Grider
Riley is in 7th grade and has been involved in Environmental Clubs for 2 years. He has helped work on the project in its entirety doing a little in each aspect of the overall project. He loves animals, nature, and going on hikes in the mountains.
Camila Rivera-Muniz
Cam is in 7th grader at CSN, she's in environmental clubs and cares a lot about the environment. She worked on helping the enviroment for years. Shes worked in gardens, community service, etc.
Ariana Sharma
Ariana has found a new passion in the environment this year in seventh grade. She loves being in the great outdoors and celebrating the wonder of nature. This interest has also inspired her to feature natural beauties in her drawings and paintings. Ariana has spent a great deal of time working on various projects from the MS Environmental Club and Everglades Champions in Action Club.
Maxwel Siek
Maxwel is in 7th and has been involved in Environmental Clubs for 2 years. He has helped work on the project in the commercial. He loves fish.
Anabella Stevens
Sofi Urbina
This year, Sofi started becoming more involved with environmental clubs and activities such as Everglades Champions, Environmental Club, and Earth Day planning. She loves the outdoors and is so excited to be a part of this amazing project. She thinks butterflies are beautiful and should have a place just as beautiful to live in!
Ted Potocki
In addition to being a member of the Everglades Champions, Tadeusz Potocki is a member of the Scuba Gang, volunteers for the Coral Restoration Foundation, and is dedicated to inspiring environmental change as he finishes his senior year at CSN.
Priya Deonarine
Priya is in eleventh grade and has been involved in Environmental club since 7th grade. She is Scuba Certified, and she is invested in making the world a better place. Whenever there is an opportunity to help the community, she is always inclined to do the best that she can.
Katie Chetty
Katie is in eleventh grade and has been involved in the Scuba Gang for three years. She helped create the best practices guide, and volunteers in environmental activities at CSN. Katie enjoys traveling, baking, and playing the saxophone.
Anakin Morales Anakin is in 7th grade and it is his 1st year in Environmental Club. He loves nature and has a passion for animals. He helped with the painting, the techy parts of the project and the flyers.
Eva Galvez-Chevtchenko
Eva is in 7th grade and has been involved in environmental clubs and committees for 1 year. Eva helped with the planning for the butterfly corridor project and the planning of Earth Day.
