However, presenters must be members of the society.
As an experiment unique to this meeting, individual oral presentations will be tried out.
For details, please refer to "Oral Presentations (Individual)" in the "Presentation Types" section below.
No taking photographs of other people's presentations or distributing them (for example, via social networking services) without permission.
*Workshop
If you are planning a workshop, please contact us at the email address on "Contact Information" by 15 September.
The organizing committee will decide whether or not to accept your plan on 16 October, taking into consideration the time schedule of the meeting.
Please be acknowledged that there are cases in which we may decline your plan.
*Social Gathering for Participants
The meeting will not include a banquet, but will instead include a social gathering with refreshments in the evening of Saturday, 30 November.
There is no charge for this social gathering.
*For Participants with Pre-school or Younger Children
A Japanese-style room at Hakodate Citizen Hall is available for changing diapers and napping (application can be made at the meeting reception desk).
Hakodate Arena also has a kid's room for pre-school children (application can be made at the arena reception desk).
Both rooms are free of charge, but children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We will announce the details as soon as they are confirmed.
A copy of the abstracts will be sent by e-mail to each registered participant.
Oral Presentation (General)
It's a typical oral presentation.
Presentations will be 15 minutes long, including Q&A.
Presentations are given orally with slides projected by a projector in a large conference room on the date and time assigned to each person.
Oral Presentation (Individual)
It's a presentation similar to a poster presentation, but without using large posters.
Each presenter will have their own presentation area (a desk and chair will be provided) where they can freely present using their own PC, tablet, flip charts, handouts, or separate printed papers, excluding large posters.
Just before the core presentation time begins, please present a 1-minute lightning talk with one slide.
During the core presentation time, presenters should wait at their individually assigned presentation areas and present to attendees who come to listen.
Presentation times are generally flexible, but please especially ensure that presentations during the core time do not exceed a reasonable length.
Poster Presentation
For poster presentations, please create posters in A0 size (vertical: 1189mm, horizontal: 841mm).
Please note that you cannot use horizontally oriented posters like regular slide screens.
