After taking the “AM I ADDICTED TO SOCIAL MEDIA?” QUIZ, I realized how much time I waste on social media that I should be spending with the people I care about and enjoying my life. The results stated,
You Need to get a grip on your social media habits! Scrolling through social media is your number one pastime - you're never off the .gram, TikTok, Twitter, or Facebook. You spend an excessive amount of your day on social media, feeling that if something isn't recorded and posted on one of your accounts it didn't really happen. Sleep, eating, work, and even your relationships, are all suffering as a result. Did you know that, in a famous study from Denmark, adults who spent a week off social media felt much happier with their lives? They also reported an increase in real-world social activity and were significantly less angry and lonely than those who stayed on social media.
beginning today, it's time to take my social media addiction seriously and begin limiting my time spent on social media.
I picked this data because I find it fascinating that YouTube and Facebook are the most popular web platforms among US adults. I expected Instagram and TikTok to be the most popular internet platforms. This statistic applies to me because I use Facebook more than any of the other apps.
Social media may be helpful or harmful. Everything depends on the circumstances. On the positive side, people use social media to connect with others in their areas and remain in contact with friends and family. On the negative side, teens now spend more time watching digital media rather than sleeping. People who are adults and teenagers frequently spend a significant amount of time on social media. Everything has an impact, whether positive or negative.
Lesson learn:
I must admit that talking with others is enjoyable, but I should communicate more frequently without the use of social media. It is best to spend fewer hours on the media and live a joyful life with family and friends.
