We were assigned to investigate and discuss situations of cyber security highlighted in the media for this project. I also completed some interesting cyber training and received a certificate.
Cybercriminals who conducted an attack using ransomware against the second-largest school district in the nation, the Los Angeles Unified School District, have posted some of the stolen information online. Hacking occurs when an unauthorized individual gains access and tweets on behalf of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Federal officials have been warning that ransomware attacks on US schools may grow when students return to class and cybercriminals become more aware of extortion opportunities at the time of the alleged breach. The insecurity caused by crucial information being published online has an impact on the school community and partners. Educational institutions should request the FCC to authorize the use of E-Rate Program funds for IT security infrastructure and technology experts.

In this article, a Wiper Malware attack against Russian systems is outlined. It went against courts and public institutions, particularly the mayor's offices. To defend against these attacks utilize the most recent threat detection software and exercise caution when opening any strange emails to protect yourself from these assaults.
