In this project, I explored and shared different types of digital media on my ePortfolio, including an image, animation, audio, and video. I aimed to find media that was ethically sourced, ensuring proper attribution and understanding the various licenses that govern how each type of media can be used. The goal was to demonstrate the diversity of digital content and learn how to responsibly share media with respect to creators' rights.
I found this image by searching "abstract images" on the Creative Commons website.
I screenshot the image and upload it on my website.

This is an example of an animated gif I found on DeviantArt. An animated gif is an image format that displays a sequence of frames to create the illusion of motion.
I saved this gif from DeviantArt and uploaded it to my website. There was no licensing information or specific sharing restrictions, I will credit the original creator and link back to the source, following the TASL rule of thumb: Title, Author, Source, and License.

The video introduces media literacy as a key that unlocks the meaning behind the messages we encounter, enabling us to be more thoughtful and intentional when creating and sharing our own messages, especially on social media.
I embedded this from YouTube using the provided embed code, but there was no usage policy or licensing information available.
According to the about page for Media Literacy Now, the video can be used to inform and drive policy change at the local, state, and national levels in the U.S. to ensure that all K-12 students are taught media literacy, helping them become healthy, confident, and competent media consumers and creators.

This is a sample audio file called " Nature's Sound Spa". I chose this audio sound because it calms me like white noise for a baby. It reminds me of peace and a happy place.
I downloaded this audio file and uploaded it to my google drive. Next, I changed the permission settings to copy the link. Lastly, I embedded the link to my website.

During this project, I learned how to create and edit diverse digital content, such as text, images, audio, and video, using various software tools. I discovered the importance of selecting the appropriate medium for communication, as well as the ethical considerations of copyright and content sharing. Overall, I gained a deeper understanding of the technical, creative, and ethical aspects that shape digital media today.
