This semester presented a lot valuable information that is applicable across so many fields. We learned how to use software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and even google sites. Although I have been using most of these software's, I learned proper usage and main neat caveats that I didn't even know existed. The establishment of information hierarchy was the most valuable lesson I learned. I used the headings and structure of information for my other classes to create organized and well structured notes, honing in on important topics and creating conducive study guides for each of my classes.
Overall, I am extremely grateful to have taken this class and have a professor that was enthusiastic about teaching! It made each class such a positive and valuable experience. As someone who wants to pursue a career in IT, I learned a lot of basics (such as the difference between the internet and the web, what actually is a computer, information hierarchy, how to build a computer and what are the essential components) that I have overlooked even though I use a computer every.
