This project focused on biomechanics and motion capture technology and how it is used to study and analyze human movement. The presentation explained how motion capture systems use cameras and sensors to track movement in real time and create detailed digital models. I also researched how this technology is used in sports, healthcare, gaming, and entertainment, along with its advantages, disadvantages, risks, and recent advancements.
Topic and Why I Chose It: I chose biomechanics and motion capture because I am interested in sports and modern technology, and I wanted to learn how movement tracking can improve performance and prevent injuries.
One Interesting Thing I Learned: One interesting thing I learned is that motion capture technology is used in physical therapy and rehabilitation to help patients recover from injuries more effectively.
Artifact of My Presentation: My artifact is a PowerPoint presentation that included research, visuals, and speaker notes about biomechanics and motion capture technology.
This project helped me improve my research, organization, and presentation skills. I learned how important biomechanics and motion capture are in many different industries and how technology can be used to better understand human movement. I also learned the importance of using reliable sources and presenting information in a clear and organized way.
