For this project, I explored how different global communities use and access technology, comparing and contrasting their situations. I had chosen 2 cities, Cape Town, South Africa and Tokyo, Japan.
Cape town: One of the most remarkable features of Cape Town is its location within the Cape Floral Kingdom. This region, though the smallest of the world's six floral kingdoms, is incredibly biodiverse, boasting a unique and concentrated variety of plant species found nowhere else on earth
Tokyo: okyo's public transportation system stands as a testament to the city's urban planning and efficiency. This intricate network moves millions of passengers with remarkable punctuality daily, showcasing the city's ability to manage its immense population
Doing this project on my own was a really good learning experience. I had to do all the research and put everything together, which meant I had to plan my time carefully and make sure I stayed organized. I got better at finding good information and figuring out what was important. I also learned how to explain complicated things in a simple way, which is a useful skill. Using pictures and maps helped me show the differences between Cape Town and Tokyo more clearly. I realized how much visuals can help people understand new information. This project taught me that I can handle big projects by myself, and it made me more confident in my ability to research, organize, and present information effectively.
