Chrissy Solter Memorial Scholarship

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Chrissy Solter was active in the beginning of the Conway Springs Community Theatre. Not only was she hilarious, she was also kind-hearted and had a way of bringing out the best in those around her. The members of Conway Springs Community Theatre wish to honor her life and legacy by assisting those who participate in and understand the value of the arts in the community.

Each recipient is eligible for an award of $250. Recipient must provide proof of acceptance and enrollment in an accredited institution of higher education, including university, community college, trade school, technical school, or apprenticeship program in the fall semester following graduation. The institution will be paid the award directly. No transfer of award is permitted.

REQUIREMENTS

•Conway Springs High School senior

•Letter-winner in drama, band or vocal for at least one previous year

•3.0 GPA

APPLICATION

Turn in to the high school counselor’s office by March 8, 2024:

•Completed application form, typed and printed (linked here)

•Copy of high school transcript through fall semester of senior year

•About 250 words on the importance of the arts in communities
