👋  Hi, I'm Christina! 🤖🧠👩‍💻

I am a PhD candidate at the Video & Image Sense Lab (VISLab) in the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam, supervised by Iris Groen and Cees Snoek, and funded by the European AI Laboratory ELLIS - through which I am also advised by Gemma Roig at Goethe University Frankfurt.
I hold an Integrated Master's degree (BSc & MSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Before starting my PhD I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer in the Greek tech company DeepLab.

My PhD work has focused on benchmarking the representational alignment of video-AI models to the human brain watching videos across the fMRI (ICLR'25) and EEG (ICLR'26) modalities to obtain neuroscientific insights. Current work focuses on applying those insights to improve model efficiency.
