👋  Hi, I'm Christina! 🤖🧠👩‍💻

I am a 3rd-year PhD candidate in AI, Computer Vision, and Vision Neuroscience at the University of Amsterdam (VISLab, Informatics Institute) working with Iris Groen, Cees Snoek, and Gemma Roig through ELLIS. 

My work has benchmarked the representational alignment of video models to the human brain watching videos across the fMRI (ICLR'25) and EEG (ICLR'26) modalities to obtain neuroscientific insights. Ongoing work focuses on using those insights to improve computational efficiency of world models.

I hold an Integrated Master's degree (BSc & MSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Before starting my PhD I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer in the Greek tech company Deeplab.

Some of the things I enjoy: Travelling, cats, books, swing dancing, and a nice cup of tea :)
