The goal of this Ambassador Project is to create a landscape report of Computer Science in Rhode Island. Unfortunately, by the end of March we had not finished getting the data pulled from RIDE. We had expected to have the data at the beginning of the year. We have been working for seven months to get the data that is submitted to RIDE by each school district to have the correct codes so that the data can be pulled effectively. While working to this end, I separately collected data from each Computer Science teacher at the high school level and some middle schools to see what Computer Science courses are taught, the course name, the number of sections, what curriculum they use, and if they worked with a CS4RI partner. Since this data is all I have to work with, this landscape report will be focused on mainly high schools and will be limited. Also, not all schools answered my request for the data, so some schools and data will be missing. Therefore, we can use the information presented here just as a statistical overview.
