What You Can Do!

You begin in the lobby. From here, you are given a choice of 3 different puzzle rooms.

In the Perspective Puzzle Room, you enter an art gallery. To solve it, you must find out what the room is trying to tell you! Walk around the room and look around. The answer will be right in front of you.

Use the up and down arrows to put in the answer.

Technical Challenge:

  • Creating the custom statues in Blender was challenging. Making sure the statues don't make shapes that are too obvious for the player.
  • Making the message readable when you are in the correct viewing position. The end result is readable, but not as clean it could've been.

In the Vault Puzzle Room, you enter a dark basement. Your goal is to power up the generator and open the vault! You must put the blocks in the correct order to open the vault.

Unlock the room, and enjoy your hard-earned treasure!

Technical Challenges:

  • For the Dark room puzzle it was really difficult to turn on all the cubes at the same time to open the door.
  • It was difficult to put together all the elements of the room, as this room is supposed to be give the player a scary feel.

In the Harry Potter Room, you enter the magical office of Dumbledore. Your goal is to find the horcrux and destroy them to escape this room. Follow the small hints and specially the lights, they will surely guide you to the horcrux. Remember "Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light".

Technical Challenges:

  • It was challenging to think of a magical puzzle to give the user a feel of the Harry Potter World. Therefore, it was very important to put proper audios and particle effects each time something happened especially when the objects interact with the wand.
  • As the end of the game i.e the final step towards room escape is very crucial, it was hard to figure out about what should the user do with all the 3 horcruxes. The script was kinda tricky as one horcrux should be constrained to only one platform.
