Logline
Worlds collide when an inner city teen finds a mysterious sword and teams up with a shadow hunter armed with a crystal bow of light. Together they travel the cosmos fighting against an army of shadows while bonding over their shared love of music.
Enter Eddie
Eddie is a junior at an inner city high school who loves science and music. Eddie is a good kid, but lately he hasn't been sleeping well. He keeps having strange dreams of battles and strange places. His insomnia is wearing him down, causing his grades to slip. And he is starting to get into trouble at home and at school. Also, Eddie might be hallucinating, because he is starting to notice shadows moving in ways they shouldn't be moving.
After missing the bus on a stormy day at school, Eddie finds a mysterious sword. Or did the sword find him? Either way, Eddie learns that the sword has the ability to cut portals to other worlds. Without knowing how to properly use the sword, Eddie learns that the happy little accidents caused by using the sword have serious consequences on a grander scale.
Introducing Bo and Lily
Bo is an intergalactic shadow hunter armed with a crystal bow that transforms sound into light (and vice versa). Accompanying Bo is her younger sister Lily, who is learning how to be a shadow hunter just like her big sister.
While traveling to a distant star, they discover a massive cloud of shadows heading towards Earth. They travel to Earth to investigate, and end up uncovering the shadow's plan to use the fabled Sword of Dimensions (the same sword Eddie just found) to extinguish all of the light in the universe.
Eddie meets Bo and Lily
After arriving on Earth, Bo and Lily take a break from their travels. Bo starts playing music on her bowharp to pass the time.
Eddie is at home, in bed, listening to music, trying to fall asleep. After a song's lyrics cut a little too close to Eddie's emotions, he tears off his headphones in frustration. While lying in bed, he hears the faint whisper of Bo's music playing outside. He sneaks out of his bedroom window to find the source of the beautiful music.
Just as Eddie encounters one of the strangest sights he has seen in his life, a beautiful alien girl playing music in the forest, a band of shadows ambush Eddie. Bo saves Eddie from the attack and the two quickly become best friends.
Soon after, Bo, Lily and Eddie travel the cosmos, having adventures, fighting shadows, learning about each other's cultures and jamming to Eddie's playlists.
