In this unique, team-taught class, students will explore fascinating cultures through both hands-on learning and delicious culinary adventures. In my classroom, they'll discover each country's geography, landmarks, traditions, daily life, and fun cultural facts. Then, in the kitchen with Ms. Henton, they'll bring their learning to life by preparing and tasting foods inspired by that culture.
This year we'll journey to Brazil, China, Germany, and Egypt, alternating between both teachers for a well-rounded experience that blends history, geography, cooking, creativity, and global awareness. It's the perfect recipe for learning—one part exploration, one part adventure, and a whole lot of fun!
