Hello and welcome to the Riordan Choirs website. Both these choirs proudly represent Archbishop Riordan High School. The Marianist Choir and Crusader Choir both provide a rewarding experience for choir members by cultivating musical skills and disciplines that benefit all areas of life.
CHOIR MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS (These apply to both the Marianist Choir and the Crusader Choir):
Members need to possess a love for singing
Members need to attend rehearsals (Adjustments are made for certain needs. Members communicate with the director with regards to these matters)
Members need to be willing to abide by rules and regulations following the code of conduct at Archbishop Riordan High School
Members must have discipline and respect for authority
Members must have a positive attitude, team spirit, and a sense of compassion for others

The mission of the Marianist Choir is to enrich, inspire, motivate, and engage the Riordan School community in hymns and sacred songs in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and other liturgical celebrations.

The Crusader Choir is styled in the way of both a " show choir" and a "traditional choir" where members join together to share their talents with choral singing. The repertoire of this choir consists of a variety of music of different styles and genres. Choreography and movement are included in some musical numbers.
