"Multi-Weapons Tournament"

RULES

(1) The following weapons & shields will be available:

- Center-grip round/oval/kite

- Strapped heater

- 2' fishbat

- 3' sword

- 3' mace

- 3' hand axe

- 5' Danish axe

- 6' thrusting spear

- 6' greatsword

- 6'+ polearm

- 9' spear

(2) Standard double-elimination format

(3) Before each bout combatants will choose which weapon or weapon/shield combo they will fight with. Order of selection is based on Order of Precedence with the higher OP choosing first; the fighter with the higher OP may defer, allowing the opponent to choose first.

(4) Once a weapon or weapon/shield combo has been selected it is unavailable for the other combatant for that bout. For example: Faustus chooses 3' hand axe. His opponent may then choose any available weapon other than the hand axe or, if he/she desires a shield, one of the two shields. In short, no bout should ever include matched weapons/shields.

(5) Shields may only be used with the fishbat, sword, mace, and handaxe. If weapon-and-shield is a fighter's desired choice he/she must choose the weapon and shield separately, with his/her opponent having a choice before the second choice can be made. For example: Faustus chooses first and takes the one-handed sword. Dawi then chooses the center-grip shield. Faustus, if he wants a shield, now only has the strapped shield as an option. He takes it. Dawi, finally, chooses a 3' hand-axe to go with his previously chosen shield.

(6) If a fighter wishes to fight florentine he/she may choose one weapon at a time. For example: Faustus chooses a one-handed sword. Dawi chooses a 5' Danish axe. Faustus then chooses a 3' hand axe, and finally Dawi chooses the 3' mace."
