This excerpt taken from GIHE Good Practice Resource Booklet on Designing Culturally Inclusive Learning and Teaching Environments focuses specifically on ways to create a cultrually inclusive classroom environment. It provides, tips, examples, and information on how and why these strategies are most effective. Teachers can use this resource booklet to appropriately structure their physical and collaborative classroom environment. 

PBS created this special documentary Culture in Our Classrooms to call attention to the equity gaps found in many Midwestern school. They also wanted to address factors of a positive learning environment for students of all background. More specifically, the video addresses ways to reference backgrounds and cultural of students of color through research based strategies. This resource can be beneficial for current and future educators as it provides real life examples of application and acknowledges the impact culture has in the classroom.
