How to attend
To participate in the Workshop, it is necessary to be registered for the 15th CIFARP. The theme selected for this year's Workshop is Delivery Science - Innovative Technologies and Global Health Challenges. The program features lectures by foreign and Brazilian researchers, as well as a session of oral presentations by selected young scientists. Young Scientist Travel Grant
Young scientists who are members of the Brazilian Local Chapter interested in presenting their research during the CRS Brazilian LC Workshop must submit an abstract using the electronic form below. Among those registered, up to 6 (six) works will be pre-selected for the oral presentation session. At the Workshop, selected candidates will compete for the Young Scientist Travel Grant granted annually by CRS for participation in its next annual event to be held from 6 to 10 July 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal.
NOTE: Abstract submission to CRS Workshop is separate from submissions to the 15th CIFARP. You may submit the same abstract to 15th CIFARP and CRS LC Workshop, but submissions to 15th CIFARP only will not be considered for presentation during CRS Brazilian LC Workshop, even if you are a registered member.

Below are the criteria that must be met to submit an abstract to compete for the Young Scientist Travel Grant:
1. Young scientists are understood as graduate students, postdocs and young researchers at the beginning of their careers (up to 5 years of their full-time research career);
2. The authors/presenters of the submitted works must be active members of the Brazilian Local Chapter and be registered for the 15th CIFARP (proof of registration is mandatory);
3. The abstract must be written in accordance with the standards described in the electronic form to be made available;
4. The abstract must be sent via electronic form by September 30, 2025;
5. The result will be announced by September 24, 2025 by email to members and on social media of the CRS Brazilian Local Chapter;
6. On the day of the Workshop, the selected candidates will have 10 minutes to present their work in English followed by 5 minutes of discussion;
9. The selection of the candidate who will receive the Young Scientist Travel Grant to participate in the 2026 CRS Annual Meeting & Expo will be based on the quality and scientific impact of the study, as well as the quality of the presentation on the day of the event.
