The Controlled Release Society (CRS) was incorporated in 1978 as a not-for-profit organization devoted to the science and technology of controlled release. CRS serves 3,000 members from more than 50 countries. Two-thirds of the CRS membership represent industry and one-third represents academia and government. The Society has 19 local chapters, and the CRS Brazilian Local Chapter is one of these and was established in 2019 during the XXII International Symposium on Microencapsulation.
As local representatives of CRS, we intend to:
Educate and disseminate knowledge in the various fields related to controlled release
Provide local networks
Strengthen the relationship between academia and industry in the area of controlled release, for example by organizing forums to discuss regulatory issues with the National Health Surveillance Agency.
Support young scientists in their pursuit of knowledge and interactions, disseminating internships and employment opportunities, guiding them in the writing of scientific papers and in the elaboration of academic projects, creating schools for advanced studies.
