Registration/Information Meetings are used to help individuals who want to sign up with TSSAA and North Central Basketball Officials Association (NCBOA). I encourage you to bring a laptop or iPad, along with a payment method, other than cash in order to complete your registration with TSSAA. During these meetings we will answer any questions from new incoming officials to veteran officials who may be curious about administrative topics as well as policy for TSSAA and NCBOA. These topics may be, but not limited to the following
1. How do we find out we have games from NCBOA?
2. When is the first NCBOA Meeting for the upcoming basketball season?
3. Where can I purchase officially licensed referee uniforms?
4. What is required to officiate an elementary, middle school or high school basketball game?
5. Can I work as many games as I want during the week?
6. How can I get a rule book?
7. What happens if I do not have a game on a certain night?
8. How do I get paid for reffing a basketball game?
The above questions will be covered in "Registration/Information Meetings" in the form of a power point presentation. Each power point presentation will have a "QR Code" and each participant will be able to scan the QR Code and get the presentation sent directly to their smart phone and/or device.
"Registration/Information Meetings" will last around 45 minutes to an hour. Click on the hyperlink to register for upcoming "Registration/Information Meetings." If you have any questions, feel free to email me at CrowHopOfficiating@gmail.com
*This meeting, or any other "Registration/Information Meetings or Learning Sessions" do not qualify for "Local Meeting Credit, nor Camp Credit." These meetings are optional and NOT required, nor mandatory.
