Governance & Transparency
Our Governance Structure
CROGGI CIC is governed by a board of three honorary directors who provide strategic oversight and ensure alignment with our community mission. Supporting them are project leads and volunteers who play vital roles in day-to-day operations and programme delivery. This structure allows us to stay agile while maintaining strong accountability.
How Decisions Are Made
We follow a participatory and inclusive approach to decision-making. Key project decisions involve consultation with community members, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure diverse voices are heard. Directors meet regularly to review progress, financials, and governance matters, and work collaboratively with project teams to guide our direction.
Roles & Responsibilities
Directors: Set strategic priorities, uphold CIC regulations, oversee financial management, and safeguard the asset lock.
Project Leads: Manage programme implementation, community engagement, and reporting.
Volunteers: Support facilitation, administration, and outreach, contributing vital skills and local knowledge.
Asset Lock Statement
As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), CROGGI CIC operates under an asset lock. This means that all assets and profits are dedicated exclusively to community benefit and cannot be distributed to private individuals. Our asset lock ensures the long-term sustainability and ethical stewardship of our resources.
