CCHS Marching Invitational

The Crockett County Marching Invitational is a high quality marching band contest that takes place late in the season that gives attending groups a positive environment and feedback to help them reach the highest levels of performance.  In 2025, the CCMI was brought back from a long hiatus, and was the first contest on campus since 2016.  

The judging panel is a high quality group of trained educators from the Central States Judging Association.  Our contest uses the TBA Judging sheets, with a nine person panel to adjudicate music, visual, effect, percussion, color guard, and drum major.  If you would like more information on the TBA system, please use the following link for more information: http://www.tennesseebandmasters.org/marching-band

Awards will be presented for the following captions:
In Prelims, each class will be awarded the top 3 for band, percussion, color guard, and drum major, and one group will be awarded the Alisa McDavid Memorial Fan Favorite Award. In finals, overall top 12 placements will be awarded, and the top 3 percussion, color guard, and drum major, as well as the highest band score in Music, Visual, and Effect.
