Teaching

Prior to emigrating to Quebec, Canada, I taught extensively in K-12 education in China's greater bay area, particularly in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. I taught IB English A and English B courses as well as Cambridge IGCSE English courses. I also coordinated the IBDP Extended Essay core component for several years. I still serve as one of the senior examiners for the IBDP English A Language and Literature course. In the Philippines where I was born and raised, I taught junior high school social studies subjects in a Jesuit school and lectured English and literature courses in another Catholic university where I earned my BA and first MA.
