Currently serving as a Spanish Language Arts Reading Consultant on the Curriculum Support Services team at Region 10 ESC, partnering with Local Education Agencies to strengthen instructional practices and designing planning and pacing tools for the Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC). Responsibilities also include supporting the implementation of ITRS+ (Implementing TEKS Resource System) to ensure effective curriculum alignment and instructional support. Previous roles include HQIM & THL, World Languages, Early Childhood, and Bilingual/ESL Teaching & Learning Consultant, with duties focused on designing, creating, and delivering professional learning for Local Education Agencies. Collaborative work has involved partnerships with the Texas Education Agency and multiple Education Service Centers, contributing to projects such as the TCR/SLAR Instructional Manuals Project, a Curriculum Audit for a Local Education Agency, the Kindergarten Purpose of Literacy Screeners, and service as an Instructional Reviewer for the SAFAL Adoption.
