Region 10 Education Service Center, Richardson, TX

Currently serving as a Spanish Language Arts Reading Consultant on the Curriculum Support Services team at Region 10 ESC, partnering with Local Education Agencies to strengthen instructional practices and designing planning and pacing tools for the Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC). Responsibilities also include supporting the implementation of ITRS+ (Implementing TEKS Resource System) to ensure effective curriculum alignment and instructional support. Previous roles include HQIM & THL, World Languages, Early Childhood, and Bilingual/ESL Teaching & Learning Consultant, with duties focused on designing, creating, and delivering professional learning for Local Education Agencies. Collaborative work has involved partnerships with the Texas Education Agency and multiple Education Service Centers, contributing to projects such as the TCR/SLAR Instructional Manuals Project, a Curriculum Audit for a Local Education Agency, the Kindergarten Purpose of Literacy Screeners, and service as an Instructional Reviewer for the SAFAL Adoption. Additional contributions include the development and facilitation of professional learning experiences such as the TExES #164 ESL Supplemental Certification Course, Multilingual Research-Based Instructional Strategies, Meeting the Needs of Long-Term English Learners, Sheltered Instruction and Academic Vocabulary Development, and MTSS for English Learners. Collectively, these roles highlight a career dedicated to advancing instructional equity, curriculum design, and educator support across multilingual and diverse educational settings.

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, Grapevine, TX

Build capacity towards Language Acquisition and acceleration through the district coaching model across Pk-12 in Dual Language and English as a Second Language Programs while partnering with peers for cross curricular collaborations, instructional alignment, curriculum design and implementation and job-embedded, standards-based professional learning;  Design and implementation of a Dual Language Framework, together with collaboration of campuses led to an average of 1.5 - 2  years growth in reading levels biliteracy increase in both English and Spanish languages in just 3 months.

Hunters Creek Elementary, Spring Branch ISD, Houston, TX

Led collaborative effort in professional learning growth and staff coaching in Sheltered Instruction and ESL Instructional Strategies.  Results for Reading LEP percentage passing rate increased from 67% to 90% and ESL percentage passing rate increased from 67% to 89% while both percentages at level 3 increased from 17% to 33%;  STAAR, STAAR A, STAAR Alt, TELPAS, CogAT & IOWA Co Testing Coordinator & LMS management;  Led PLC's and classroom observations of strategies learned.

Las Americas Learning Center, Arrow Academy, TX

Led pedagogy and instructional learning, curriculum development and lesson design geared toward academic improvement by integrating multidisciplinary approach of learning preferences in combination with personality traits through Emergenetics.  Led campus and teacher observations and walk throughs, defined needs assessments as a precursor to implementing systems and processes;  Implementation of charter initiatives such as Capturing Kids Hearts, STEPUC Reading Program, Fountas & Pinnell, MAPS, Neuro Nine Lesson Design, RtI, LPAC's and ARD's;
