The workshop aims to bring together theoretical physicists working in the areas of string theory, scattering amplitudes and gravity to discuss modern developments in string theory and related applications to classical and quantum gravity and black hole physics. The workshop will focus on the physics of highly excited strings and their intricate classical and quantum properties.
We expect to have on average two 1.5-hour review talks per day that will introduce a hot topic with emphasis on open problems with plenty of time for discussion and interaction.
The meeting will take place at the University of Crete in Heraklion, Greece.
Location: Department of Physics
Participation is by invitation only. If you would like to participate please contact one of the organizers.
Caution: If you receive an email from a travel agency offering to book your accommodation, beware it is a scam. Do not give out information and, if in doubt, contact the organizers. We have not authorized any travel agencies to book accommodation for the participants of the workshop.
