7th/8th Grade Bands

This page is for all current 7th and 8th graders in the Crestwood MS Band Program!

When we start in August...

7th & 8th Graders- Welcome back! The following will be expected of you when you return to school in August:

• Be sure your instrument is in full working condition

• Your Binder is complete on the inside (with Dividers labeled: Calendar, Objectives, Rhythm, Technique, Handouts, Music/Book), pencil pouch with pencils and sheet protectors are optional but strongly encouraged.

• Have the Tonal Energy app, or a similar instrument tuning app, downloaded to your phone/tablet/device. You can also purchase a Tuner from the music store. This will make practicing at home MUCH easier.

• Be ready to have FUN, work HARD, but definitely be rewarded from all of the work we will be putting in to becoming an amazing ensemble of the best kids in the school!

Google Classroom

We will be using Google Classroom as a way to complete forms, submit assessments, and numerous other items in band class.

Please join the class below that you belong to, which can be done by you logging into your KPS Student Account, opening the Google Classroom app and accepting the invitation to join.
