BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE RESEARCH
Creative Hearts' founder designed and conducted a randomized six-month controlled study involving participants aged 72 to 97, measuring changes in emotional well-being and short-term verbal recall before and after a structured creative intervention. She performed statistical analysis on the results and presented her findings to a panel of over 15 judges, including scientists, physicians, and researchers. In 2026, this work earned second place in Behavioral and Social Science Research and a medal from the San Diego Psychological Association. This work lead to a neuroscience internship to study the longitudinal effects of brain injury on cognition in a university-level laboratory setting.
