The horde was a game about trying to survive against a horde of zombies. This game never got finished because of school and it just got abandoned. also with our team look at the Unreal Engine, we have been spending time learning that which evolved the Horde Unreal.
This game is really not done but it has taught us a lot about the differences between Unreal and Unity. We have learned how powerful the Unreal engine lighting system. Although you can’t die in this version you can really imagine what this game will become with some more effort and time.
Why did we move to Unreal? We started to get frustrated with the way Unity was heading by adding seats and monetizing the engine in ways we felt where not sustainable. We also grew frustrated with the way Unity's lighting system looks and not able to do materials.
