Theme: Running the Race

Theme Verse:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize (1 Cor. 9:24).

English Speaker:

Pastor Dennis Chow

Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dennis has an ancestry of ministry as the son of a minister, and the grandson of a pastor and missionary, and he, himself, has been involved in Christian ministries for 6 years.

In High School, he led worship and preached the word at his Fellowship of Christian Students. While attending Penn State University for his undergraduate management degree, he was heavily involved with Epic Movement, a Campus Crusade ministry to Asian American students, serving as a small group leader, prayer coordinator, and eventually president.

Since graduating in 2009, God has led him to attend seminary at Columbia International University in South Carolina, bringing to fruition the call to ministry that he has heard ever since High School. In May 2012, he graduated with a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Bible Exposition. Since graduating, he has accepted a position as Assistant Pastor of English Ministry at the Chinese Evangel Mission Church in New York City.

In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, cooking, reading books, and catching up on news and tech reviews. He absolutely loves playing and watching sports, such as basketball and football, eating all kinds of food, and taking long road trips.

In addition to all of this, he has a strong passion to preach God’s Word, teach biblical truth, and disciple fellow believers, so that in everything, we will learn to love Him and to love others.
