DO NOT USE POISON
Rabbits:
Herbs, rosemary, sage and thyme
Onions and garlic
Deer:
Fencing or hedge screening
Using shrubs and bushes with thorns along the border where deer access your plot is good, as is planting bamboo
Using/making noise machines (i.e wind chimes)
Fragrant herbs they dislike the aromas.
Plant sage, mint, rosemary, dill or oregano among your more vulnerable crops to keep the mammals away.
They do not like Daffodils or sunflowers

Squirrels:
Squirrels find daffodils poisonous so squirrels steer clear of them
Odorous plants such as onions and garlic also deter squirrels.
Chipmunks:
Onions and Garlic
Crushed garlic mixed with water and sprayed on the leaves of plants is also a good deterrent.
Raccoons:
Raccoons do not like walking on prickly vines such as the ones that squash have. So planting a border of squash around the edge of the garden can deter Raccoons.
Moles:
Chives
Garlic
Leek
Onion
Shallots
Rodents:
Lavender, mint and marigolds are effective at repelling rodents, while daffodils and catnip can also work.
Domestic Pets:
The best plants to deter domestic pets are those with strong odors. Cats and dogs have a much more acute sense of smell than humans
Garlic and onions are again useful in repelling Dogs and Cats. Also the strong odor of cayenne peppers has a similar effect.
Your Dogs and Cats can actually also be helpful in repelling unwanted wildlife. If you collect the fur that falls from your dog or cat when you brush them and spread it around the base of vulnerable plants, the smell of these ‘predators’ will deter creatures like squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks from hanging around.
As expected good fencing or hedge deployment, as well as the trusty scarecrow are also ways to keep critters away.
You can also try making a small plot of crops specially for animals to divert them there instead of your food.
