Kerry F. Crawford is an Associate Professor of Political Science at James Madison University. She is the author of The PhD Parenthood Trap: Caught between Work and Family in Academia (2021, Georgetown University Press, co-authored with Leah Windsor), Wartime Sexual Violence (2017, Georgetown University Press), and Human Security: Theory and Action (2018, with David Andersen-Rodgers, Rowman & Littlefield). She is the mom of three young children.
Leah Windsor is an Associate Professor in the Department of English (Applied Linguistics) andthe Institute for Intelligent Systems at The University of Memphis. She is the author of The PhD Parenthood Trap: Caught between Work and Family in Academia (2021, Georgetown University Press, co-authored with Kerry F. Crawford), She directs the Languages Across Cultures lab and is the author of numerous studies at the intersection of Linguistics and Political Science. She is the mom of two young children.
