OUR MISSION is to strengthen Crawford and the surrounding region by being a catalyst for enlightening humanities events; creating opportunities for businesses & organizations to work together; providing opportunities to educate people, especially children, about history and events that have shaped our culture; and promoting pride and patriotism by hosting events to honor and remember people in service.
OUR PROJECTS
Crawford Serving Humanities is thrilled to host America's Freedom Tribute over September 9-12, 2026. Their 80% replica wall of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and their Cost of Freedom Tribute will be on display at the Crawford Ball Fields, offering the "community with an incredible opportunity to pay RESPECT to our veterans, HONOR the fallen, and REMEMBER the sacrifice made by so many in service of our great country," as America's Freedom Tribute so beautifully describes it.

The two organizations will continue to work towards replacing all the seasonal banners. Funds raised greater than the amount required for this winter season's banners will be set aside for future banner purchases. This campaign will work with the American Legion and Sons of the American Legion to acquire and place Hometown Hero Banners throughout the year. Stay tuned for more information on these special banners!
Crawford Serving Humanities aspires to see a permanent memorial wall installed in Crawford’s City Park. This project is in its early stages of development. Check back often for updated information!
