Welcome to the CraterWorks laser cutter tutorial page.

We have updated the driver software for the laser effective September 15, 2021, if you did your laser orientation before that date please watch the new videos.

The FusionPro and Helix laser are both Epilogue lasers and use the same driver software but the settings used are slightly different so please watch the videos for both machines. The FusionPro is a newer laser and has a few upgrades from the Helix, though the Helix is still a great machine. The Pro has a 32” x 24” cut bed, a positioning camera, and an optional rotary attachment.

The driver software now has a material database with suggested cutting and engraving powers; this is a good place to start with your cut but its always a good idea to do a test cut on your material before cutting your project.

Please note the power setting will be different on the two lasers so don’t assume that a power that worked on the Helix will work on the Pro.
