My main interest outside of work is watching (and very very occasionally playing) sport. In particular, I'm a huge football fan and an avid supporter of Kilmarnock FC. I run the popular @SPLstats Twitter account where I share bits of trivia about Scottish football. I also regularly appear on The Terrace Scottish Football Podcast, and occasionally contribute to other podcasts and websites.

I also love travelling, and I'm fortunate enough to have a job which allows me to do a decent amount of it. I've visited 32 countries across 6 continents, and I am looking forward to adding to that in the coming years. I spent two brilliant years living in Sydney and think Australia is a wonderful place to live and visit. There are loads of great places around the country, but my two biggest recommendations are Sydney (obviously) and Tasmania.
