Dr. Jia served as a judge for the K-12 VEX Robotics Competition Tournament in South Carolina.

10 groups of nearly 40 students from automotive engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering gathered at CU-ICAR for an autonomous vehicle competition in Dr. Jia's course. The competition has attracted about 100 attendance from Clemson and local industries.
Students from local J.L. Mann High School learnt robotics and autonomous driving knowledge, gained hands-on experience, and were offered job shadow opportunities in CRA Lab.
