Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using CPU Usage Meter Pro ("the
Application"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you
disagree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Application.
License
CPU Usage Meter Pro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable
license to use the Application on your Mac devices, subject to these
Terms and App Store guidelines.
Permitted Use
You may use the Application to:
- Monitor your Mac's CPU and memory usage
- Access system information and statistics
- Purge system memory when appropriate
- Launch system utilities (Activity Monitor, Console)
Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
- Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to system functions
- Distribute or share your license with others
- Use the Application in a manner that could harm or impair functionality
System Permissions
The Application requires system-level access to:
- Read CPU usage statistics
- Access memory information
- Monitor system processes
- Execute memory purge commands
These permissions are used solely for the Application's intended
functionality.
Disclaimers
Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, system monitoring data is
provided "as is" without warranties. Readings may vary based on system
conditions and other running applications.
System Impact: The Application is designed to minimize system resource
usage, but we cannot guarantee zero impact on system performance.
Compatibility: The Application is designed for supported macOS versions.
Compatibility with future OS updates is not guaranteed.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the
Application
- We are not responsible for data loss, system damage, or performance
issues
System Modifications
The memory purge feature and system monitoring functions interact with
macOS system calls. While designed to be safe, you use these features at
your own risk.
Updates and Support
- We may provide updates to improve functionality and compatibility
- Updates may be delivered through the Mac App Store
- Support is provided on a best-effort basis
- We reserve the right to discontinue support at any time
Termination
- You may stop using the Application at any time by deleting it
- We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms
- Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete the Application
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without
regard to conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use
after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
App Store Terms
Your use is also subject to the Mac App Store Terms and Conditions. In
case of conflict, Apple's terms take precedence regarding App
Store-related matters.
