Language Experience Approach: a teaching method that uses students' personal experiences as the foundation for creating reading and writing materials, essentially integrating all language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing). In the Language Experience Approach, students dictate their experiences which are then written down by the teacher, allowing them to read back their own stories and build literacy based on what is meaningful to them; it is particularly beneficial for language learners.
